Course Synopsis
This program will cover the essential skills to become a dental assistant. Students will learn the role of the dental assistant. Students will gain the importance of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure that the dental office will run smoothly. Students would learn their responsibilities of assisting during procedures, prepare instruments, x-rays, educate patients and scheduling follow up appointments.
Students will gain both hands-on patient care and organizational support, and dental assistants are vital to the overall functioning and success of dental practice. Upon completing the class students will be eligible to take the Dental Assisting National Board.
